Welcome to Flatbush
Located in southwestern Brooklyn, PARK SLOPE gets its name from being situated on a slope leading down from Prospect Park West, towards 7th and 4th avenues, with Gowanus and Carroll Gardens to the west. Its architecture consists of historic and ornate brownstones on tree-lined streets, alongside post war co-op and rental buildings and mixed-use walk-ups. Home to multi-generational property owners and newer, younger families, Park Slope exudes residential Brooklyn. It is also centrally located near downtown Brooklyn and just south of the rail line of Atlantic Terminal and Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center where most major subway lines converge. Below Atlantic Avenue, the 5th Avenue corridor is teeming with boutique shops, restaurants, cafés and nightlife.
LOCATION: Borders: Prospect Park West/Prospect Park, Flatbush Ave, Prospect Park Expressway, 4th Ave. ZIPS: 11215, 11217.
